The hotel's decoration had a charming rustic touch, with cozy wooden furniture and beautiful vineyard views from the general areas. It made me feel like I was in a cozy countryside cottage. The hotel was also conveniently accessible for senior people, with no stairs to climb and spacious hallways that were easy to navigate.
I only wished that the children working there could have been a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests. Perhaps having someone specifically assigned to assist with luggage or provide extra support for older guests would have made the vacation even better for us.

The rooms were very nice and comfortable, and the location of the hotel was wonderful. The views were stunning, and we sat by the very nice pool and just enjoyed the setting.
The villa is rather remote so you must have a car, which we didn'T. There is no place to make or store your own food at the villa, and they only serve a small breakfast, so you have to eat out for lunch and dinner, and there is nothing very close.

Gorgeous surroundings, friendly staff and the history of the castle and winery were amazing. We enjoyed using the beautiful swimming pool and area for an afternoon of relaxation. The breakfast was small but nice. The nights were cool and very quiet! The perfect get away place!
You must have a car to stay here. Too far to walk to the Piazza del Campo. The WiFi did not always work very well through the thick castle walls, but it was free.

They were dedicated to their job and made sure everything was in order. It was a refreshing change to experience promptness, which can sometimes be lacking in Italy. One standout staff member was Marcello, who provided outstanding service. the dinner staff and meal were also exceptional, with a wide selection of delicious food and fantastic wines. the location of the guest house was perfect for our travels, allowing us easy access to Rome and Florence. we highly recommend Castel Di Pugna Winery Guest House. Cons: All was perfect! 👌.

Beautiful setting, lovely scenery, close to Siena, nice swimming pool to cool down after a day of sightseeing. Great location. Provided a good tour of the winery, including prison and wine-tasting!
Nothing we didn't like, but there wasn't always staff on hand if you had a question or needed something. But it really wasn't a problem, because we just rang and they took care of it as soon as possible.

Everything was really amazings. Location is great - close to Siena and to main roads - it's very convenient to travel to other cities from here. View to Siena from Villa is very nice especially in the evenings. Rooms are very nice too. Owners of the villa are very nice people especially their son who showed us their winery and other things there. They produce amazing wine - we recommend you to buy a few bottles. Also there is a very good place to dinner near by - osteria dei pittori.

The breathtaking views of endless vineyards, castles, and the city of Siena in the background were simply surreal. The peaceful and quiet location allowed for a deep dive into the famous Tuscan landscape. The pool was a great amenity, and we often had it all to ourselves, which was perfect for relaxation. The character of the building added to the overall charm of the place. The 30-minute walk to the city center made it convenient to explore the attractions of Siena. a favorite place in Italy with rich history, delicious food, and stunning nature.
Felt very welcomed, no reason to complain.

We were next to a sick golf course and close to lit places like Porta Romana and Torre del Mangia. We had the whole place to ourselves, so we could turn up without worrying about other guests. Plus, we had mad fun playing table tennis and going on epic hikes and bike rides nearby. It was the ultimate adventure!
The only thing that would have made our stay even better is if there was a dope party scene. We wanted to turn up and meet other young peeps, but the vibe was more chill and laid back.

We had a delightful stay at Castel Di Pugna Winery Guest House. The tranquil countryside location allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the beautiful Tuscan scenery, with stunning views of cypresses, olive gardens, and vine fields. The highlight of our evenings was enjoying a delicious Tuscan dinner and the vineyard's own wine while admiring the breathtaking night view of Siena. Marcello, our host, added an extra touch of charm by sharing fascinating tales from the guest house's history and the variety of locally produced wines.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Amazing location, fantastic working vineyard.Take the tour and relax by the pool before going into Sienna.
It would be perfect if they had a choice for a meal in the evening, such as cold meat platter. As we arrived late and there aren't many local restaurants, some food onsite would have been excellent. But this didn't detract from the stay at all.

The view of the area was wonderful. It is everything that the Italian countryside is cracked up to be! It is a winery as well as an inn.Numerous day trips can be made to very interesting places.A Car is a must at this location.
It is a very peaceful retreat from the trials of touring. A great place to relax for part of the day and yet do many exciting things just minutes away. The food in the area is great! We booked for one night but stayed for four.
